Scorpio:
October 23 - November 21 |
|
|
I
am a Scorpio (October 28th, for those of you who may
want to buy me a birthday present :D) and in my "humble"
opinion there aren't any other noteworthy astrological
signs. Therefore, if you were hoping to see information
on other signs...well, get used to disappointment. :)
My husband, Kenny, is also a Scorpio and an interesting
factoid about our coupling is that while I am six days
into the sign of Scorpio, he is six days before the
end, plus there are ten years between us.. so we are
like a perfect set of Scorpio bookends. Yes.. I know..
it's not often that two find cosmic perfection.. be
jealous. :)~
The
following is information I found on the Internet and
pasted on this page. It took me all of about 15 |
|
|
minutes
to complete...but it makes it seem as though I know
a lot about this. I like astrology enough to have a
permanent page on my site but not enough to actually
work for it. I have shit to do. Plus, there's so much
already out there just begging to be stolen...and LORD
KNOWS I'm not above a little plagiarism every now and
then. Put the two together and VOILA!...Instant content!
Having
said all that...if the information herein is wrong:
I didn't actually read the content, I just pasted it...so
go bitch at the obsessive-compulsive shithead I stole
it from whose sloppy, lazy attitude provides us all
with shoddy info. THE BASTARD! |

The
symbol of the SCORPION expresses the character of those born
between the dates of October 20 and November 19. Scorpios are
known for their deep passions and sensual appetites. Because
Scorpios will generally try anything once, the label of sinner
has often been applied to them. Yet some Scorpios are so self-disciplined
they could qualify for sainthood. You can't tell the difference
from their attitude. Scorpios tend to operate from the extremes
of experience with no middle ground. It is the Scorpio who unexpectedly
falls from high positions, or comes up shining after the most
devastating circumstances. Like the legendary Phoenix, Scorpios
can exhibit a relentless hold on situations even through what
appears as defeat. And watch out, they are revengeful and hold
grudges past death. So it's absolutely true that Scorpios make
the worst enemies but they are absolutely the best advocates
you could find. Scorpios
can do well in anything that has some depth. They need total
involvement in their field of employment. Their mental shrewdness
is put to good use in constructing business deals and making
financial investments. They also make great researchers, sleuths
and trouble shooters, liking to get to the heart of any matter.
Many of those who deal with security devices and encoded messages
are Scorpios. They are attracted to obscure positions like
bounty hunter, coroner and pawnbroker. They play their parts
in the emergency room and the funeral home. The less than
desirable roles of butcher, coroner and sanitation engineer
are often left to Scorpio. What can be said except that they
are obviously not afraid of the unknown and taboo areas of
life. Naturally suspicious, Scorpios are perceptive judges
of character. Their supurb manipulative abilities are used
to advantage as prime ministers, political advisors and campaign
masterminds. As chemists and physicists, Scorpios are permitted
to probe deep into life's mysteries. The best surgeons and
medical specialists are Scorpios. As writers and performers
they are excellent at portraying the darker and redemptive
side of life. As criminals and racketeers, Scorpios act as
our shadows.
Relationships
can be rather stormy with Scorpios. Usually quiet, you won't
know there is anything brewing for quite a while. They can
be very direct in their speech when they choose. Actually,
they can be quite nasty! Typically Scorpios are roasted for
a wide range of negative traits such as possessiveness, jealousy
and vindictiveness, but don't forget that they also play the
white knight on many occasions. It just depends on which side
you are on!
Oddly,
Scorpios want to know everything about their partners, while
they themselves are very secretive. On the plus side Scorpios
are fascinated with sexuality and no one is more seductive
than a Scorpio. Any Scorpio can be magnetic and persuasive
to the opposite sex. It's difficult for a Scorpio to act conventionally,
but if their needs can be met, Scorpios can be very loyal.
