Celebration of Arts
Held in the spring of each year and sponsored by Hernando Woman’s Club, you can enjoy an evening celebrating artist’s talents, dinner, and even a carriage ride around the Courthouse Square.

Hernando A'Fair

Held annually on the 3rd Saturday in May around the Historic Square, the A’Fair offers music, arts and crafts and food for everyone. Visitors are welcome between the hours of 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Held in the spring each year, you view some of the city’s finest blooms!

Fourth of July Picnic & Parade Around the Square
We have a children’s parade with bicycle, tricycles, wagons, and other riding toys all decorated in the Fourth of July spirit. After the parade, we all enjoy a picnic on the courthouse square lawn.

Hernando Music & Heritage Festival
This year on September 30th - October 1st, 2005, Hernando will hold its 3rd annual Music and Heritage Festival Fall on the Square. Attendees will enjoy heritage arts/crafts, food, and music including local artists.

Annual Christmas Open House
On Sunday, November 13, 2005, come and visit participating merchants for special offers and prizes throughout the day. Spend the afternoon around the Historic Hernando Courthouse square and enjoy food, music, and even have your picture made with Santa. Sponsored by Hernando Main Street/Chamber of Commerce.

Hernando Annual Christmas Parade
On Monday, December 12, 2005, come to Hernando and enjoy our annual Christmas Parade Around the Square. Lineup starts at 5:30 and parade begins at 6:30 p.m. Rain date is Monday, December 19, 2005.
