Poker Run:
Liz updated us on the Poker Run
Continue to ask for donated prizes from businesses
Next meeting Liz will provide volunteers with a brown envelope that includes the materials needed (poker sheets; directions to stops & stamps) for the Poker Run.

Everyone should see Friday’s Desoto Times for the Poker Run Ad.

Jeri is getting 2,000 tri-fold flyers donated – how wonderful!!!

Everyone had fun watching the gals try on and model the SPQ dress that Judy brought

Judy brought a roll of sequenced fabric and the pattern for any of those who wanted to cut out their material for the dresses. Judy offered her assistance in making the dresses if anyone would like to come to her house next week.

A discussion regarding an alternative to the DSQP dress could be a sequenced vest.

Janice brought copies of the Donation Receipt and will email one to everyone later this week.

Janice gave out some decals of the National SPQ logo

Thursday Oct 16th 10 AM is Grand Opening of the Sunrise Shop Thrift Store. Please try to come if possible.

Chelle brought the gloves she dyed for us – Thanks Chelle!!

Lisa’s husband made a presentation of his “bag watcher” proto type. Everyone thought it was fantastic and a lot want to order them. They will keep us informed.
